Johnny gets stoned on shrooms in Amsterdam and is tricked into jumping off a bridge by a talking fish. When he hits the water and goes under, he finds himself trapped in another world, and so begins his long journey home. It isn't always easy being swallowed by a whale, seduced by a mermaid, challenged by a talking skeleton, tricked by a snake, or trying to get Henrietta's fingers back from the demons of Hell. But along the way Johnny discovers that returning home isn't as important as traveling the road from here to there, wherever it leads. Most importantly, Johnny discovers the nature of his soul.
