Traditional!

This is an authoritative, British, Jewish cookbook. The earliest editions date back to the 1940's. This edition, the Exeter hardback of 1980, is revised and expanded. Old Fashioned but Reliable

I got this book as a bride in England, 38 years ago, inexperienced in the kitchen, and a great lover of the traditional Jewish cooking I grew up with. This book is easy to use, recipes are easy to find and follow. Mine is paperback, falling apart, and I'm looking to buy another copy (...). It tells you everything you need to know from soup to nuts. My faithful chestnut stuffing recipe comes from this book as do many others.
