Inspired by the main character of the Caldecott Honor book Flora and the Flamingo, this new series of board books is perfect for the very youngest Flora fans. When a nest of eggs begins to hatch, how will Flora ever keep up with so many chicks? Featuring fold-out pages and Molly Idle's graceful artwork, this adorable counting book will delight young children as they master new words and concepts.
Condition Less than Good; Security Tag Ruined Picture
Published by Megan , 2 months ago
This is a decommissioned library book and is kind of beat up, which is fine, but when I got to the last page, I found that there is an immovable old security tag stuck right in the middle of the picture. The book is about counting ten chicks, but no kid is going to be able to count to ten as one of the chicks is completely covered up. I cannot gift a book to a child that has an important part of a picture obscured this way. I wouldn't have bought this book had I known, and I'll have to buy another copy.
The book itself is very cute and I am trying to collect all the Flora books. Disappointed that this one didn't work out.
