Sheila met Shaun on a cool Sunday night in May, 1970. They had their first date on Monday and he proposed on Thursday. That's when their adventures began. They spent the summer getting to know each other and in September Shaun left for the Navy. They married in April, 1971 and for the next 20 years the Navy moved them from Jacksonville to Maine and back again. At each new place they sampled the foods, enjoyed the experiences and made new friends. After retiring from the Navy they settled down again in Jacksonville with their son Scott. Shaun got a job with the Post Office and Sheila worked for the Department of Defense. No more deployments and no more separations allowed them to follow new dreams. The stories in this memoir follow them while they learn to grow as a couple, adjust to new challenges and create a future for themselves and their son. Often humorous and sometimes sad, you are invited to share in their experiences.
