More Fun Criticism for Carter Fans

Some GREAT essays in this book. My favorite was Nicole Ward Jouve's "Mother is a figure of Speech..." which I found hilarious and piercing. The variety of essays here demonstrate that reading Carter is half the time about mis(s)-reading her. Some of it you THINK you know what she's doing and some of it just flies right over your head. A MUST READ for anyone thinking of looking into reading Carter critically.
