Disingenuous love is the revised story of Nyka. We dive deep into the romantic history and the trials that shaped the women you know today. Behind the smile is a story not so foreign to those who grew up in Miami. Nyka is the product of family secrets, generational curses and a mixture of her own bad decisions as she tried to navigate through her teenage years and into adulthood. She fought a constant battle of yin and yang idolizing performers like "Freaky Red, Tip Drill now known as Miami Tip, and Trina while also spending her days emulating Betty Wright, Ann Nesby, Rebecca "Butterfly" Vaugh and Yolanda Adams.
