"Flatpicking" ist eine Spieltechnik auf Saiteninstrumenten, vornehmlich auf der Gitarre. Aber auch auf der Ukulele erfreut sich dieses einfache Melodiespiel mit dem Plektrum immer mehr an Beliebtheit. Dieser stetig wachsenden Gemeinschaft ist diese Liederbuchserie mit verschiedenen Genre-Liederb chern gewidmet.

The Jig is both a lively folk dance throughout the British Isles and the underlying melody. It was widespread in England in the 16th century, only later did it become the typical dance of Ireland. In Irish folk, the jig is still the most popular tune type after the reel.
"Flatpicking" is a playing technique on stringed instruments, primarily the guitar. But this simple melody playing with a plectrum is also becoming increasingly popular on the ukulele. This songbook series, with various genres, is dedicated to this ever-growing community.
The melodies were notated using the internationally known tablature notation for string instruments - no knowledge of music is necessary.
The sounds are available online in a sound player with adjustable playback speed. Videos with brief playing instructions, including a sample song, and explanations of various playing effects are also available online.
