Flames Over France

It is May 1940, and Flight Lieutenant Ken Armstrong, fresh from his exploits in Norway, finds himself deployed to an airfield in France from where he can range far and wide over Germany in his photo-recce Spitfire. Armstrong is in the thick of the fighting, taking off day after day in the teeth of hopeless odds, experiencing the agony of seeing his friends fall in flames, their numbers constantly dwindling.
