Mrs. Goldin was my high school biology teacher. She failed me in biology and crushed my dream of becoming a physician. I could not have been accepted to medical school with the low mark that she gave me. I couldn't let her do this to me. Do you know the saying: "When one door closes another opens"? At retirement, I look back and feel pretty good about my accomplishment, even though it was not always easy.
