Ready for the sequel!

I love a book that keeps you guessing who did it to the very end. Mark Fadden delivers a great detective novel with plenty of twists. I can't wait for the sequel!

Outstanding new author!

Mark Fadden's excellent work is a unique twist on the traditional detective story. It is packed with details and an intricate, complex plot that will keep you glued to the page and guessing until the very last line. If you are looking for a crime novel with more guts than the average, this is your book. I look forward to further installments in this series, as well as other works by Mr. Fadden. Overall, very impressive, especially for a new face in the literary world!

This would make a great movie!

I got the book on Tuesday and finished it Wednesday night. I'm one of those people who read a book until it is done, ignoring all else (if it's good). I thought it was great. I think it would make a great movie! I hope Mark is working on a sequel. I wasn't able to guess who the bad guy was which made it all the more interesting.

The Devil is in the Details

With this first novel, Mark has introduced the amazingly complex detective, Danny Cavanaugh, in a highly descriptive tale involving murder, money, something like madness. I loved the setting in Dallas, not only because I am native Texan, but also because he takes everything we love and hate about Dallas and weaves those elements into the story. I must admit that once I got to the last 100 pages, I thought I had the ending figured out. I was wrong. Let me just say, don't start the last part of the book until you have the time to finish it, because you won't put it down!I truly look forward to learning more about Danny Cavanaugh and seeing more of Mark's writing.

Twists and Turns

Mark Fadden's book Five Days In Dallas keeps the reader hopping throughout the book. Just when you think you have figured out "who done it" a new twist is revealed that takes you in another direction. The reader is pulled into the world of Detective Danny Cavanaugh from the very beginning of the book until the end. Mark Fadden's descriptive narration and character development is so detailed that once you start reading you will not want to put the book down. Enjoy...!!
