Art critic Matt Benson is proud of his reputation, even if he has been called a chauvinist pig. But nothing gets under his skin more than an opinionated woman, especially one like artist Jenny Smith. So when Jenny offers him a part in her next art project--a part that requires them to be tied together for thirty days--Matt agrees, determined to prove he's right. But ten feet of rope isn't much space. Worse, both Jenny and Matt are suffering from something they didn't expect--a scorching attraction to each other Will they last thirty days together...before they're at the end of their rope?
I love Joan Johnston, though this was not one of my favorites of hers. I try to stay away from the, desire books. I only bought it because it was by her and I hadn't realized it was a, desire. I much more prefer the inspirational or historical ones. Considering this was one of her first, it was good. I thought it was a unique story line, done well. Really, the only complaint I have is the bouncing around of POV. That really irritates me. If it wasn't written so well, with a great story line, I wouldn't have been able to finish it.
