I'm anti-social to a fault.

I don't even like hockey.

Between his matchmaking father and a mother who is slightly more subtle with her bribery of pies, Brooks and I became friends.

Remaining "just friends" is a tried and true failure. A relationship is never going work with his career. With his tendency to be the center of attention and my aversion to any spotlight.

We couldn't be more opposite for each other.

But I fell for Brooks, anyway.
