Plodding tear-jerker

Of course, you know this is a slowly executed tear-jerker before even opening the DVD case. There is annoying background music, and the dialogue is mostly made up for effect. (Try with the sound off and subtitles on.) Even the subtitles can be lacking, as Neil is playing “Music Out of the Moon” (Capitol Records), the subtitle on the screen is “Slow music playing.” Lots of filler scenes. This is supposed to be about Neil Armstrong, as you should surmise from the title. The part about X-15s and Apollo 11 is just the side stories. Fast forward can be your friend. I could go on forever, but I do not want to look nitpicky. I just do not want to spend money on this critter. The filming location of the house is built on an empty lot just for filming 690 Rounsaville Rd, Roswell, Georgia, USA
