First Hour

By Larry M Arrowood

First Hour: The Hour That Changed the World Forever

It begins like any other day.

Then, without warning, something happens that no government can explain, no scientist can immediately understand, and no news organization can fully comprehend.

Beginning in Christchurch, New Zealand, and moving westward across the globe, The First Hour follows ordinary people through different nations, cultures, and time zones as an unexplained event begins to unfold. At first, the incidents seem isolated. Then the reports multiply.

Empty beds. Abandoned vehicles. Unanswered phones. Frantic families. Confused emergency personnel. Governments searching for answers. News organizations struggling to report a story that seems impossible to explain.

Minute by minute, the world begins to realize that something unprecedented has happened.

And as the evidence mounts, an unsettling possibility begins to emerge-an explanation found not in science, politics, or technology, but in ancient words of biblical prophecy.

The First Hour is a fast-moving work of prophetic Christian fiction that imagines the first sixty minutes following an event that changes human history forever. Told through multiple lives and locations around the world, it explores the confusion, fear, heartbreak, and dawning realization of those desperately trying to understand what has happened.

For some, the truth will be terrifying.

For others, it will be a truth they had heard before-but never believed they would live to see.

One world. Sixty minutes. And nothing will ever be the same again.
