Appleville Elementary: First Day

Everyone was excited about the first day of school and the very first day of grade one. Everyone, that is, except Carlos. Carlos liked kindergarten and wished that he didn't have to go to grade one. Throughout the first day Carlos was quiet. Everyone else was happy to talk during sharing time but Carlos still wasn't sure he liked grade one. The next day Carlos was in for a surprise. His teacher said that there would be a new addition to the class. Someone that would make them all happy. Appleville Elementary: First Day is a great story, just in time for back to school. No doubt there will be many kids like Carlos who are feeling a bit nervous.
