First Contact: A Sector 64 Prequel Novella

By Dean M Cole

A routine test flight. A mysterious crash. Humanity's first encounter with an alien race.

When Major Anthony Spinelli takes his P-51 Mustang on a routine test flight over the deserts of New Mexico, he expects a few mechanical glitches-not to encounter a craft unlike anything built on Earth. After a storm forces Tony into a life-or-death spiral, the alien craft saves him at the last second, only to crash into the desert below. In its wreckage, Tony encounters an alien survivor.

The alien, Strem Kaspars, claims Earth's recent nuclear tests have drawn dangerous attention from beyond the stars. But as military forces close in, Tony learns the crash released an unstable power source-one capable of wiping out an entire region.

With time running out, Tony and Strem race to prevent a catastrophe. As alliances blur and secrets unravel, the fate of humanity may rest on a choice Tony never expected to face.

For fans of military sci-fi and first-contact thrillers, First Contact is a gripping entry into the Sector 64 universe. Buckle up-this is just the beginning.
