First Comes Love, Then Comes DRAMA!

Best friends London and Bernard jet off to Vegas for a night of parties and casinos to numb their broken hearts. What they don't count on, however, is waking up next to each other the following morning with a nasty hangover and a signed marriage certificate. London and Bernard nix their plans to quietly and quickly annul the marriage when London's grandmother uses a fast tongue and biblical principles to convince them to try to make their marriage work. It doesn't take the newlyweds long to realize that maintaining a friendship is a lot harder than sustaining a marriage. Their constant bickering leads London to finding solace with Creighton, an old flame who's trapped in a loveless marriage of his own. Their marriage is further strained when Rayne, a sexy new temptress, sets her sights on Bernard. After a night of passion leads to unintended consequences, London and Bernard seek God for answers and are forced to decide if loving someone means holding on to that person at all costs or being willing to let go.

The Things We Do For Love

I loved this book. I'm justing getting into Christain Fiction but this one was so good and uplifting. Reading this book really lifted my spirits regarding my own marriage. London and Bernard's story was so cute. With all the miscommunication, bad timing and plain old bad luck, I didn't think these two were ever going to get it together. The author did a good job developing the characters and the storyline. The story wasn't rushed & the reader got to see so many little things that kept derailing this relationship. London got on my nerves being so naive in dealing with the "married man" drama. However, I did feel sorry for London at times when she would be so close to giving her all to Bernard and then something or "someone" would come between them. Mama Essie's character was so wise and she didn't mince words for nothing or nobody. In the end when Bernard told London she was "his rib" I thought I would die. Loved this book. This is a must read

Love Don't Come Easy!!!

Love showing up in the lives of best friends Bernard & London. Only one thing they never planed on it being there. Talk about a ride. London wanted that unconditional love and it staring in the face all the while. Bernard has loved London since teen years and afraid to act on his feelings. With Divine help from God Almighty & Grandma Essie's prayers sure do change things for this couple. I must say I truly enjoyed this novels' triumph journey of love and faith. Mrs. Burton Congratulations. Hats off you. Look forward to reading your next novel. Savvy Book Club (Jackson,MS)

First Comes Love

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book!!! I read it in one day!!! Also, it was very suspenseful and thought provoking. It discussed the meaning of true love by looking beyond the surface to find substance in an individual.

~A MUST READ~

This is a great book! I read it in 2 days(only because I have a 1 yr old...I would have read it in a day). It is one of the best books I have read. It has so much suspense, I couldn't put it down, I had to see what was going to happen next. If you haven't purchased the book, you should. It will also make a good stocking stuffer and Christmas gift. I promise you won't be disappointed.
