Fireplace Primer

Profuse with pictures and drawings - Sunset is the "Life Magazine" for California style. A good idea book for someone planning a home with a fireplace or barbeque or adding one to an existing house. Although a bit dated on technology, the basic masonary, wood burning and vent free styles are covered. I actually wore out my first copy, referring to it as we built a brick and mortor monster - one that we would never have attempted without this book.
