When I opened my eyes, I saw that I was in a room. I had never seen a room like it before. Three out of the four walls were just plain white. There was a bookshelf on one wall, a bed on the other, and a door on the other. I was sitting in a chair along the wall where the bookshelf was. The last wall looked to be a wall of thick glass. I got up and walked over to the wall of glass. I knocked on it. It didn't look as though anything could penetrate it. I looked around the room and asked myself, "Where in the world am I?" ... A door started opening. My first instinct was to run for the door, for hope of an escape, but I just walked forward a bit. A man walked in. Would he rescue me? He smiled and spoke in a deep voice, "Welcome to Eekoreh " ... My first thoughts: Who are you? Where am I? How did I get here? Can I go home? What I didn't know at the time was that I'd be here for a bit. A long time, actually. I'd meet some new people, and learn a few new things. A lot of things would change for me. For better, or for worse? I'm not sure yet. The only two things I was sure of: I am Rachel Reigle, and I'm not on Earth anymore. **This is a work of fiction.
