Mamo on the Mountain

Mamo on the mountain is helpful in our work, we have done lots of work on it.Like writing out the story in the rich mans or the sisters point of view. My favourite part of the story was when the rich man thought he had a victory ,he had a feast and did not hear the music or eat the food, all of the servantsdid it to teach him a lesson.

Mamo on the Mountain

We thought this book was very good and we enjoyed it . It also helped us with our classwork. We worked on what is similar and what is different to us.We are now writing from another character's point of view.

Mamo on the mountain

I think Mamo on the mountain was a good story because the rich man learned his lesson and there were lots of detail in it and finally it was a happy ending and I love happy endings. In school we have been doing some work on Mamo on the mountain and I have enjoyed it. We have been writing stories and been doing differences and similarities. Example in Ethiopia they have the same animals that we do like cows and sheep. Ethiopia is the place where they lived. Well anyway the story is brilliant.

Good story!

I found this story very beautiful and I am so happy to share it with my students from Ethiopia and Eriteria. They are very lucky to have a children's author writing stories from this area. It will move them and make them proud.

Courage

The book in a very Ethiopian way talks about a courageous boy and his sister questioning authority. I read the book to my 6-year-old by sight translating it into Amharic; I thank the author for telling the story beautifully.
