This ACS Symposium Series volume addresses recent advances in fire retardancy and examines progress that has been made in controlling fires. The second third of the book is devoted to Polymer Flammability Measurement and Mechanisms. The remainder of the book will is equally divided between New Flame Retardant Chemistry and Recent Developments in Flame Retardant Materials. Each of the 4 technical sections is preceded by a short overview provided by the editors.
