Finky and the Ice Comet

When a blazing comet streaks across the clear night sky, Cosmic Superhero Finky Gadfly and Ziddles, his clever eight-legged cat, discover it is heading straight for Genesis 6 - a distant planet inhabited only by animals. With no people to warn and very little time to spare, Finky realises that the animals' only hope is to take them to a nearby planet.

Guided by ZomZom, the ship's computer, Finky races to a nearby star system in search of a spaceship large enough to carry the animals to safety. Along the way, he encounters fast but tiny ships, luxurious spacecraft he cannot afford, and a spaceship supermarket without any suitable ships - until he finds an unlikely solution in a forgotten junkyard: an old, battered transporter offered freely for a good cause.

As the comet closes in, Finky and Ziddles must work together to move the animals to a new home on the nearby planet Genesis 9. With kindness, courage, and quick thinking, they succeed just in time, proving that even small heroes can make a big difference in a vast universe.
