Finite Mathematics

I am an engineer. I was given this book. I think it would be a good text for a mathphobe. Concepts are developed within the context of examples that are clearly laid out, if occasionally bordering on inane. Although it seems to be written for a non-technical person, it is broad in its scope and seems to cover the topics in respectable depth. I find myself referring to it when I am involved with issues in quality assurance or reliability.
