Finish Strong, Works! ..Put It Into Practice!

Finish Strong was a Great read from cover to cover. It really doesn't matter what stage of life one is in, this book will help you FINISH STRONG! This book and Dan Green's motivational skills helped turn The New Orleans Saints into Super Bowl Winners. Finish Strong, is a mantra we all need to live by to achieve our full potential. An excellent inspiratural book for anyone who loves motivational books.

This wonderful book is filled with incredible true stories of people who overcame enormous odds to succeed. If you are looking for a book for yourself or someone you care about, which will lift their spirits, this is the book. Besides the true tales, this book is filled with inspirational quotes. The theme throughout this book is an emphasis on finishing strong. No matter what the obstacle, to never give in to despair. This short review cannot do this book justice because all the stories are fantastic examples of courage in action. The following are some examples. The first story is about a runner named John Baker, who overcame size and cancer to succeed. The second story tells about Bethany Hamilton, who became a surf champion even though a shark had taken her left arm when she was thirteen years old. There are numerous other examples of courage in this book, from sports, business and other areas of life. One of my favorites is about the "Cinderella man" Jim J. Braddock, of whom a movie was made. Another one of my favorites in this book is the story of Kyle Maynard, a wrestler who had no arms and legs but had never been pinned by an opponent. There is also a DVD in the back of this book which will inspire and motivate you. As Dale Carnegie said, "Most of us have far more courage than we ever dreamed we possessed." In conclusion, this book should be part of every thinking person's personal library. Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J.
