For lead guitarist Les "Pauly" Paulson, that means staying in Nashville writing and playing music, and spending his life with his best friend, Sloane, the band's bass player. But Sloane's ideas don't mesh with Pauly's, leaving the lead guitarist feeling adrift.

Sloane Vargus has been in love with his best friend and bandmate, Pauly, for years. When he asks Pauly to go on the road, Pauly pushes him away, so Sloane runs back to California.
