All her life artist Jayne Davis had believed in magic, but sometimes just believing isn't enough. When first her mother and then her father died Jayne retreated from life, taking the first job she was... This description may be from another edition of this product.
"Finding the Magic" by Cait Miller was more of a romantica novel than erotica for me. There is lots of yummy sexual tension, and when the lead characters do have sex it's very very hot...but not really more than some of the mainstream novels I read. Jayne believes in magic. She hasn't seen it, but she still believes in it. She's also tired of living her quiet boring life. When she attends her best and only friend's wedding, she meets the gorgeous, bad-tempered best man and they share a fireball of a kiss. Then he stomps off and now Jayne decides it's time to live again and to heck with bad-tempered hot guys. Cameron believes in magic too. Mostly because he is a shape-shifter and as soon as he caught sight of Jayne, his mating heat kicked into high gear. It's too bad he decided never to take a mate, altho if he was, it would certainly be Jayne. To ensure his decision, he retreats to his 'castle' in the north. Then he finds out Jayne is in danger... He's been hurt and so has she. The more time they spend together, the more obvious it is to Jayne that they have something special and the more obvious it is that he is hiding some very big differences... I enjoyed this book. I'm going to hunt down the first book in this series "Believe in the Magic" and read it too! I'm also hoping she publishes the next one as there are some definite loose ends to be tied up...
