Finding Ruby Draker

Finding Ruby Draker is an interesting read by new to me author, Marianne Scott. I found the plot to be different. It tells the story of college student Kathleen Jones who is living the life in the suburbs. Her world suddenly comes crashing down around here. Just before she is to graduate, she comes home to find her home gone and her family murdered and she herself is abducted. The danger is only just beginning from there. She must do all she can to survive. I kept asking myself questions throughout. Why is she now being referred as Ruby Draker? What will she discover about herself, her family and the kidnappers? This is a story that kept me gripping my seat and keep reading to find out what twist or what turn is happening next. I never knew what was going to happen next. I found the book to be fast paced and not at all predictable. I thought it was a great book to read and spend a nice and sunny day on my deck. I really liked it. Finding Ruby Draker will be getting four and a half stars from me. I believe readers who enjoy reading thrilling mystery and suspense filled novels. I look for more books like this by Marianne Scott in the future. I received a paperback copy of Finding Ruby Draker from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
