I picked up this book at a yard sale and what a find! This true story is written in such a vivid and articulate way -- you are instantly transported to Glasgow of the '50's on an intimate and unforgettable journey. It's tough to write a book about your life and be able to "report the facts" in an accessible way but Meg Henderson has done it. Thanks for this book, Meg!
