A TRUE LOVE STORY

I enjoyed this book, it really was a true love story, looking forward to part two of this book. This book will leave you with a feeling of true love in the air.

The book lives up to its title

Rosylyn Wyche-Hamilton brought the characters depicted in this story to life as true African Americans in language and actions. The main character Joi pained yet she still yearned for the man that could make her complete. This story though it seemed would be one dimensional at first ended up being choked full of life unexpected hurtfull situations. However, the love of family and friend shone throughout the story. I feel the author should have much more to tell in a sequel. I found the story absolutely delightful.

Anxiously Anticipating Part 2

I truly enjoyed this book. I loved the fact that there is a major cliffhanger and I am looking forward to the sequel. The characters seem so real and the life situations can be easily related to by anyone, no matter where they come from. I also enjoyed the poems by Faith. Can't wait to read more from Roslyn M. Wyche-Hamilton!

All the makings of an EXPLOSIVE BLOCKBUSTER MINISERIES!!!

Whyche-Hamilton provides brilliant insight of African-American relationships amongst family, friends and colleagues across various socio-economic backgrounds. While Joi and Jaylen are the central characters of this book, Ms. Hamilton does not fall short in making the other characters as significant, since they were all created with a "place to grow to". She manages to dispel perceived stereotypes (with more than a few surprises), while at the same time creating the characters with an intimate familiarity that causes the reader to connect with the various characters as someone they, too, similarly love(d), like(d) or despise(d) in their own lives. I simply LOVED! the "floetic poetry" she used to set the scenes... While every book has a beginning, this book has NO END... I read this book in less than 5 hours, and actually became MAD that the book ended! I can't wait for the sequel... or TV mini-series!

Expect Great Things

This book was absolutely amazing. I know it sounds cliche, but this book literally made me laugh, cry, and get angry. It kept me on the edge of my seat (mentally), and I simply cannot wait for the sequel. I am sure that we can expect great things from Mrs. Wyche-Hamilton in the future.
