Raised in the Catholic faith, I was immersed in its teachings and values from a young age. As I matured, my curiosity led me to explore beyond the confines of organized religion, prompting me to question the beliefs instilled in me. .
Having witnessed the divisive nature of organized religion and its tendency to create an "us" versus "them" mentality. I could no longer reconcile the idea of a loving God who excluded certain individuals simply because they did not conform to prescribed norms. This realization marked the beginning of my spiritual quest, a journey to uncover the truth residing within each of us. Through the intertwining stories of Sarah, Michael, and Debbie, I aim to reflect on diverse experiences and universal themes that resonate with those seeking deeper understanding. Their struggles, moments of connection, and profound realizations mirror my own journey and that of countless others. By sharing their story, I hope to inspire readers to embark on their own path of self-discovery, to question, explore, and ultimately find their own version of "heaven" - not as a distant destination, but as a present state of being achieved through embracing our true selves.
