Amazing woman - awesome book

I thoroughly agree with the previous reviewer's comments. I've been grappling with why I have been faced with inflammatory breast cancer, a rare and advanced form of breast cancer with a poor prognosis, and Lee's book helped me immensely. Whatever you are facing in your life that has turned your world upside down, I think you will find strength in reading this book, along with reading God's Word.

She does not skirt the tough questions but faces them squarely, sharing the insights and lessons she learned while struggling through her husband's cancer and death and subsequently her own diagnoses of breast cancer. Her comfortable and intimate manner of sharing is like sitting down with a best friend who is willing to be honest about all their hopes and fears. She has done the research to help you find the answers to your questions.......particularly that old nemisis "why?" Each chapter ends with practical steps you can take to help you navigate the road ahead. I heartily endorse this book as an easy to read, but very thorough covering of the problems of suffering. You will laugh and cry, but come away with new insights and a knowledge that God is right there with you in the midst of whatever life throws your way.
