MacKenzie Macauley, fifteen, has been admitted to the State University of New York, Buffalo campus. Academically, he belongs at SUNY. Socially, he feels frustrated. He cannot date college boys because of his age so he seeks out high school aged boys. MacKenzie meets Wayne Douglas, fifteen, a high school sophomore, who sees McKenzie as a friend, possibly more. However, Wayne has an issue that might make their friendship difficult..
