Find Me in the Blooms

(Book #2 in the Jonathon Island | Season 2 Series)

He ran the night before their wedding. She's been running ever since.

Wedding photographer Kate Sullivan has spent five years proving she's fine. Fine with the panic attacks. Fine being the overachieving sister everyone counts on. Fine that Lincoln St. James called off their wedding and disappeared.

She's not fine. But nobody needs to know that.

When her doctor orders a mandatory break, Kate retreats to charming Jonathon Island to help her family with the spring flower festival. Sun. Blossoms. No stress.

Then Lincoln walks back into her life.

The florist hired for the festival is the man who shattered her heart-and he's more gorgeous than ever. Worse? He's looking at her like he still loves her. Like he never stopped.

Lincoln knows he doesn't deserve a second chance. He panicked and ran, terrified of becoming his absent father. But Kate Sullivan was the best thing that ever happened to him, and he's spent five years regretting the night he let fear win.

Now, working side by side among blooming orchards and island magic, the feelings they buried come rushing back. But trust doesn't rebuild overnight-and some wounds run deeper than either of them knew.

Can a runaway groom prove he's finally ready to stay?

Find Me in the Blooms is a sweet Christian romance about second chances, forgiveness, and discovering that God's timing blooms exactly when it should. Perfect for fans of Denise Hunter, Becky Wade, and Hallmark spring movies.

Jonathon Island Season 2

It was fun to return to Jonathan Island and Season 2 is promising to be as good as Season 1. I enjoyed the grumpy vs sunshine trope mixed with second chance romance in this book. Lincoln was a hero full of surprises; he was built like an alpha hero with lots of childhood trauma but worked with flowers and took pleasure in creating masterpieces of floral beauty. Kate was a creative, compassionate, can-do heroine suffering from her own childhood trauma. Their fears stemming from their childhood forced them apart the first time but maturity, self-awareness, honesty, faith, and forgiveness paved the way for their relationship to bloom again. I loved the Apple Blossom Festival on the island and also really enjoyed getting to know the Sullivan family better. I can’t wait to meet the other Sullivan siblings in this series! I received a complimentary copy courtesy of Sunrise Publishing and was under no obligation to post a positive comment. All opinions are my own.

Another Sweet Jonathon Island Romance

This is the first book I’ve read by Schwarz, but it won’t be my last. I really loved the characters. Lincoln St. James of a grieving florist, really an artist, who sees his dream jeopardized when a client besmirches his name on social media. Kate Sullivan is a burned-out photographer who has come home to Jonathon Island to rest. Except she ends up taking over the planning of the Apple Blossom Festival, her sister should oversee, except she’s on her honeymoon. Lincoln and Kate have a past that left them both heartbroken. As they work together on the festival, those long-repressed feelings resurface. If you like flowers and learning about them, you will be over the moon as you read the story. The descriptions are vivid, and readers will appreciate the beauty of nature. One thing I liked most about the book was how Lincoln saw things as they related to flowers. This makes the book unique. It’s a sweet story that will entertain you and leave you feeling good.
