A Must Read

For those few who have said that there should have been a disclaimer that the scriptures were used in this book, you can refer to the Product Description which you can read before buying it. In the description, it states "The answer is simple: we must return to the system of "just weights and measures" as outlined in the Constitution and the scriptures." This book was a real eye opener for me and I had no prior idea how the Federal Reserve really worked. Whether you believe in the scriptures or not, the informational facts given in this book, will teach you the history of money, the monetary dangers that we collectively face, and prudent ideas on how you can protect yourself. I would defiantly recommend this book to anyone who wants a complete and sound understanding of these issues.

Great Read! Very Informative.

This book provides an excellent explanation of the hidden tax called inflation. Our government and its partner in crime, The Federal Reserve, are stealing our money! This book points to the key players in our nation's history who are responsible for the confiscation of our wealth through the inflation of our currency. It explains how our currency went from being backed by gold and silver, as the Constitution mandates, to being backed by nothing more than debt. I would recommend that everyone who wants to better understand our monetary system read this book. It is easy to read and it focuses on facts. It also provides some great ideas on how to preserve your wealth in these times of financial uncertainty. A must read!

Shame on me

This book really turned the lights on for me. To say the least my family and I have been in the dark concerning our nations economic system. Who doesn't know we have financial problems but now I know how and where it all began. Doom and gloom is how I would of categorized this type of talk in the past. Surprisingly, the author proved with out a doubt that the tom foolery that our government has been engaging in, is in fact just that, factual! They have stolen the money right out of our back pockets without using any force at all. I discovered that they are milking the public through inflation, which for years I thought was just a part of ordinary life, not now! We have been hood winked into believing a flimsy piece of paper is real money. This is a message that everyone needs to hear and then start practicing.

Silver and Gold

I had no idea our country was so financially insecure. To me gold and silver were metals used in jewelry. I did not realize our very own Constitution mandated that we use these metals as money. The biggest eye opener for me is how the Federal Reserve is able to create money basically out of thin air and then "loan" it to our government. It makes me angry just thinking about it! I personally will start taking the necessary actions the author describes to protect myself. I found this book easy to read, and would highly recommend it. Mr. Draughon's analogies were simple but effective when explaining his concepts. I felt as though he really wanted his audience to learn something.
