A strategy guide, with an internet conection?

This Strategy Guide is a tribute to all of the great strategy guides of the 90's, back before Game Stop had you spending ridiculous cash on strategy guides that are twice the size, but still only have the same amount of information. The one downside to this book is that it was dependent on the owner having an internet connection because for some reason Brady Games thought it would be smart to have about a fourth of the Info in this book only accesible from a website. If that was'nt bad enough the website no longer exists, the bright side though is that as long as you go online you can do what I'm doing right now and that is filling in all the blanks of the strategy guide with Info. from the internet which is a surprisingly easy task. Even if you don't have a means of an online connection it's still a great book that does it's job for a great game.

Useful Guide

Most people here are complaining about the & amp;quot;advertisements & amp;quot; in the guide. Wrong! They aren't advertisements - the web site featured is actually beneficial to your gaming. When you have a internet-capable computer it is very easy to access this webpage and find quick secrets in the game. The online feature is for people who don't mind taking 2 minutes to log on AND register at the site.

C'mon, I don't know why so many people give this guide bad reviews, I thought it was a great guide to the best final fantasy game on PS1, it's informative and gives you a good perspective about a lot of characters like most rpg guides do. It lists weapons, equipment, magic, etc...I think this is one of the most complete strategy guides to any rpg game.

I thought I was doing pretty good on Final Fantasy IX until my friend told me about a bunch of secrets that I didn't even know about. When I got confused about some of the secrets I bought this book and I knew about all the secrets after that. This book helped me a lot and I recomend any Final Fantasy IX player to get it.
