Sometimes life calls for a hero. Great personalities who can carry those around them through a defining point in history. Heroes can come in any form, from the strong and mighty to the smart and charismatic. All that is needed is drive, personal resolve and a little bit of luck. Margo, however, is not a hero, nor does he wish to be. Margo is a simple man who just wants to go about his daily business so he can live a comfortable life. After spending nearly two decades as a Royal Messenger for the King himself, Margo finds his reasonable life disturbed by a series of bodies found around his home city. Not only do these unexplained deaths bring unease to the city's residents, they also wrap Margo's life in an inescapable bureaucratic nightmare. Now forced to travel with Blaine, an ill-experienced bodyguard/intern, Margo must try to do the only thing he knows: deliver the King's messages. For the inexperienced this may be an overwhelming task but for Margo bandit ambushes, Politicians, rampant technology, fearful lands and treacherous work conditions are all just a part of the daily grind.
