The first part (of two) of the first edition of the annual publication 'Fighting ships of the world' contains information about warships of countries from Abkhazia to Montenegro (in alphabetical order). Information is provided both about ships in service and under construction. All ships that were in the fleet lists as of January 1, 2024, are taken into account. Information on the commissioning of new ships is given as of February-March 2024. The main performance characteristics of ships are given. Articles devoted to classes of ships contain verified side view drawings at a scale of 1:1250 or 1: 625 for most classes.
