50 little slices of history

We use this book with our Ambleside online homeschool curriculum. My kids enjoy them. The book is comprised of individual stories from long ago. They are short stories that require less than 10 minutes a piece to read. I had never heard of any of these, but each one is a little slice of history. I'm glad to keep stories like this alive by reading aloud to my kids.
