Fairly good book

I picked this book up at a used book store, not really knowing anything about it. Overall, I'd say it was a competent and interesting horror novel, with some intriuging plot devices. Mr. Prouty needs to work on his character development a little, but I found this didn't distract from the book very much. On the whole, I'm glad I read it
