"A superb illustrated flora with clear line drawings by talented botanical artist Abigail Rorer. With more than 250 specimens fully described, one can identify any plant found in the coastal wetlands of the Southeast". -- Choice
As a biologist somewhat new to the Southeastern US, this great reference book met several of my needs, related both to teaching and conducting research. It is great to be able to ID plants, both terrestrial and aquatic, and this book really helps out with the flora occurring in the coastal wetlands. Very nice!

This book was very well written and an extremely good guide for field identification of wetland and wetland type plants. I wish there were a few more color photographs, but the leaf ID drawings are excellent.
