If I Was A Rich Man, Ladaladadadeee.....

There are themes that are as old as time; first love, poverty and marriage, leaving home, looking for opportunitites to crawl out of poverty, fathers losing daughters to men, and becoming aware of persecution for being Jewish back at the turn of the century. It could have been set in many places at the turn of the century and many of the themes depicted still occur today albeit with more modern settings but they do happen. Love the dad in this but a bit over the top in moments. We get it, you're poor and you feel your girls will be jipped out of great lives because of it.

Music & Dance from the 1970s

The sad story of Russian Jews being evicted out of their homes set to music AND dance.
