We live in a world where people seems not to care about serving God; where people are fervent for their political parties, soccer teams, financial achievements, education and fame but are slothful in serving God. For the bible says "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold" Matt 24:12 The love of many brethren today is indeed cold to the things of the Lord and it is only during accidents and natural disaster that they will recognize God. The bible says "Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord" Roms 12:11 It is hard time you choose which side you belong. You cannot be hot and cold. Jesus made it clear that for a lukewarm Christian He will spite him out. It is hard time you let your light shine so that God will be glorified. It is hard time you serve God using your resources, talents, spiritual gifts and in ministry.
