Elizabeth is a normal teenager living in a small, remote, and broken down town with her despondent mother. Nothing exciting ever happens in Naoma; a town where life goes to die. Her mother, Kate, has never explained why she moved to this dilapidated town to raise Liz and her brother. Boredom is the everyday norm.
