Women in Egypt are the first in invading the medical field in the Arab world. They started at the end of the 21 century. At first they were in nursing field, after that they entered the medical field as pediatric, obstetric fields. Anesthesia field was a difficult field for the Arab women. The first female anesthesiologist of the arab medical field was in Egypt. Till now Female anesthesiologists are facing many problems, and fighting for long time to be confident and to convince their community to be equal in anesthesia as male anesthesiologists.
