Fel pe Angeles was a soldier, a patriot, a statesman, and an educator. He was educated at the Military College at Chapultepec as well as at St. Cyr in France. Above all he was a humanist. "Does society have the right to watch passively while Indians are thrown out of their homes to wander through the woods like wild animals?
