Surprise Read

I was really surprised, but this is a good book. Beyond good actually, it is one of my favorites. I saw the movie, and heard there was a book, and as I liked the movie I got the book to read. Imagine my disapiontment when I found out that the book was written AFTER the movie, in other words 'they just want to cash in' so they wrote this book in two days after the movie was a hit, and it wont be quality. But, was i wrong! It may have been written after the movie, but it couldn't be better. it was such a good book! I loved it. I didnt read it for about 5 months, becasue I just assumed it wouldnt be good, but when I did, I couldnt put it down! It is a bit short, but that works so marvelouslly as it reflects on the subject matter. it is a disturbing story, and it is a hard subject matter to portray effectively, but the author makes the words so vibrant that the meaning just transends the pages. I would recomend this book to anyone, from ages 13 to 98.
