In this monograph, post-stroke cognitive dysfunctions are described, and studies have made it possible to identify post-stroke dementia at early stages and to predict its development. An algorithm for early diagnosis of cognitive impairment in ischaemic stroke has been developed. In this study it was shown that neurofunctional mechanisms of the brain play a key role in psychopathological disorders. The monograph is devoted to the study of the frequency, nature and variants of the clinical course of cognitive disorders in patients with ischaemic stroke.
