Perfect for any woman!

I read Beth Moore's book after experiencing two miscarriages and trying to get pregnant for the third time. Her Godly approach to motherhood made me realize that God gives us children as gifts and blessings - regardless if it is for a few months in utero or for decades on earth! She gives a personalized insight on how to try to raise children to love Christ - in a world that often makes that difficult! I would highly recommend this book to any woman - moms, daughters, moms-to-be, or as I was when I read it, a mom wanna-be!

SO INSPIRATIONAL. . . FOR MOMS OF ALL AGES & STAGES

This is another winner from Beth Moore but very different from her other Bible study writings. This is a more personal look into her own family life and is an absolute must read for any mom. It is written from an empty-nester's point of view, but as a young mom of a two and four year old, I found it so comforting, inspiring and uplifting. I know their time with my husband and me is short, but this book helped me have some perspective. When you have young children close in age, sometimes the days are long and tiring, but this book has helped me see things in a new light. I want to have many feathers to reflect upon when my precious ones leave this nest. Well, blessings to all who read this; I hope it has been helpful, and please do read this sweet book!

Feathers Are A Good Thing

The book is a great pick me up to remind all moms what will be left behind if we are careful to keep the little things intact. It will make you laugh a little and also cry. Beth Moore is a great individual for letting us in on some of her very own secrets from family endeavors. It makes the author seem more real and up close to us as individuals. I enjoyed it because as a woman and mom, I can see myself inside her circle of heart beats and feel the warmth. She is a blessing. Another book I must tell all Beth Moore lovers to quickly grab at the very first chance is another Christian mom, parenting columnist and author, "Mommy-CEO," by Jodie Lynn. Not only are they strong in comparison towards mother feelings, life and children challenges, but also in sharing their own mistakes and claiming to let go and let God direct our spirits.

This book is so wonderful, a perfect read and gift for Mother's Day. Beth Moore ministers to me in a new way every time I read something of hers. I truly loved this book, it is a keeper and one I will read over and over. Read it--you will not be disappointed!!

Great personal book from Beth Moore

I took this book with me on vacation and read it while on the beach. It is a great book about being a parent and seeing your children grow up and away. The book offers much insight into the Moore's personal family life. In one of Beth Moore's other books, "Praying God's Word: Breaking Free from Spiritual Strongholds", you realize that she and her family have had to deal with many family issues or personal crisis. This book looks at those same crises from a different angle by giving the details behind the challenges and explaining how they were dealt with in their family. If you are a Beth Moore fan, you will certainly want to pick up this book. Her family isn't perfect but is an inspiration.
