Asher Bennings discovers a cassette tape with funny writings on it at a yard sale with his parents. His mother, Alice, agrees to buy the tape and the radio from an old woman with a freakish smile. Her name is Marge Marguiles. The tape persuades people to kill people. Asher starts listening to the tape. He begins his killing spree, and it passes to another boy.
