Love casts out fear of "the Other."

Excellent read on encountering and embracing people who are different than us in an age of assimilation to those who are exactly like us. Willimon writes to Christians, reminding them that they are called not only to love those like them, but sacrificially love their enemies--just as Christ died for sinners who hated him. The last chapter is a particularly thoughtful and convicting take on the familiar parable of the good Samaritan.
